What Grammateas is

Online booking and business software for service businesses in Cyprus: an online booking page, a diary for the shop and its staff, reminders by email and text message, gift cards, memberships, product sales, and - with the Records add-on - clinical records and intake forms. It is sold to businesses, per shop, by monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are on the pricing page.

Trial, billing and renewal

• Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
• Subscriptions are paid in advance, in euros, by card through Stripe, and renew automatically at the end of each month or year until cancelled. Prices are shown before and after Cyprus VAT.
• If a renewal payment fails we retry it and email you. If it stays unpaid the dashboard is locked until it is settled; your data is not deleted.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change reaches your renewal.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from Billing. The service continues until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. The full policy, including what is refunded, is on refunds and cancellations.

Payments your customers make to you

When your customers pay you online - deposits, gift cards, memberships, products - the payment is made to your own Stripe account, and you are the seller. Grammateas takes no commission and never holds the money. You are responsible for your own prices, cancellation rules and refunds to your customers, and for your own tax on those sales. Taking payment in person - cash or your own card machine - never requires Stripe.

Your data and your customers' data

The data you keep about your customers is yours. For it you are the controller and we are your processor, handling it only to provide the service - see the privacy policy. Health information recorded through the Records add-on is kept, and eventually deleted, on the statutory schedule described there. On Pro and above you can export your client list yourself at any time; on any plan, ask us and we will send it.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your login and your staff's PINs to yourselves, and give staff only the access they need.
• Send marketing messages only to customers who have agreed to receive them. Every marketing message we send carries an opt-out, and we honour it.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to send messages people have not asked for.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, and we back it up. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the service

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can. If we ever stop offering Grammateas we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

Law and contact
